A crystal pendulum works by allowing the user to hold the crystal over their body, or out in front of them using an outstretched arm and then ask a question about the situation at hand. When the crystal is placed over the head, it is said to represent the crown chakra (or third eye), and when it is placed over the heart, it represents the solar plexus chakra.   This allows you to focus on asking specific questions and queries about elements of your life that are associated with these chakras.
